Welcome to our club website

The Nor'East club was originally founded in early 60s by a small group of dedicated cat lovers and enthusiasts who wanted to come together to help promote the various pedigree breeds.   

The club is affiliated to the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF). The GCCF is the recognised governing body of the Cat Fancy in the United Kingdom - the feline equivalent of the Kennel Club. 

Since its inception, the club has gone from strength to strength and now holds one of the largest Cat Shows in Scotland on an annual basis.

As an all-breed cat club based in the North East of Scotland, our membership extends much further afield than this. We extend a warm welcome to all new members while offering a wealth of experience and expertise, to advise and support all members on a wide range of feline problems and issues, including, breeding, showing, welfare and general cat care and ownership.

We warmly welcome veteran and first time exhibitors to our annual Championship Show in the Caird Hall in Dundee. Entry is open to all cats, pedigree and household pets.
